What is CDG Perspectives?
CDG Perspectives provides human capital consulting and management services to institutions and individuals focused on improving the manner in which talented, diverse candidates are sourced, recruited and retained in the corporate sector.

What is the purpose of the Graduate Diversity Forums and Webinars?
The Graduate Diversity Forums and Webinars are a series of events designed to target and assist diverse, graduate level students learn about and prepare to pursue careers in selected industries.  For 2007 the events will focus primarily on the financial services industry.  For 2008 the Forums will expand to include other industries as well as financial services. The Forums and Webinars are designed to educate diverse graduate students on the variety of career paths available in various industries while fostering a candid conversation around how these candidates can think about launching and developing a successful career after graduation.

Can anyone attend the Forum?
For 2008, anyone can attend the Forums for Consumer Products and Non-Profit/Social Entrepreneurship.  For the Financial Services Forum individuals must have confirmed their attendance at a graduate institution and will graduate in 2010 and beyond may apply to participate. 

What if I don’t know anything about the industries comprising the Forum?
The Forums and Webinars offer the opportunity to learn a tremendous amount about a variety of industries in a non-competitive, educational setting. You will participate in interactive sessions, hear panelists talk about a variety of topics, and have the opportunity to meet and speak with representatives from top institutions.

How can I participate in the Graduate Diversity Forums and Webinars?

Are there deadlines to confirm participation?
We have several important dates in relation to Forums and Webinars. 

What is the cost to attend the Forum?
There is currently no cost of admission for the Forums and Webinars.

What happens if I am not selected to attend the Forum or Webinar?
Individuals who are not selected to attend the Forum or the Webinar will be added to the CDG Perspectives mailing list. You will have an opportunity to participate in future CDG Perspective events as well as receive information on events hosted by our corporate, non-profit and institutional partners.

Are events only for graduate students or can undergraduates apply to?
We currently offer the events for graduate students.  However some resources available to undergraduates interested in learning more about the careers in the private sector, financial services and beyond, are:
