Consulting Engagements
Working with a variety of clients across the corporate and non-profit sectors
enables CDG Perspectives to redefine the boundaries shaping how institutions source, recruit, develop and retain diverse candidates.  Depending on the complexity of the project, a consulting engagement can span many areas including, but not limited to: strategic advisory, event management, program design, program management, technological design and revenue/expense optimization planning.

An institutional consulting engagement will typically involve 4 stages:

-Inquiry-We have a series of conversations with our client to better understand the challenge at hand and put ourselves in our client's shoes

-Assessment-Using data supplied by the client, feedback from conversations
and our prior experiences, we assess the immediate and long-term ramifications
of the challenge being faced by our client

-Solutions-We develop a list of short-term recommendations that offer an
immediate solution that can be implemented with a short time horizon

-Strategy-We design a detailed, strategic plan recommending a long-term
approach that is sustainable, effective and enables the optimal use of
available resources, like funding or human capital.

Some of our recent consulting engagements have covered a wide range of projects including, but not limited to:

  • Developing a strategic, cost-effective staffing plan to support the launch of a nationwide program
  • Developing metrics and reports to track and assess program results for funders, Board Members and senior leaders
  • Designing online systems to manage admissions and RSVP processes
  • Designing a branding strategy to launch a new professional development program
